Fellowship is a vital component of the life of a believer. In Matthew 18, we are taught that when two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, I Am is with them. 1 Corinthians 14 and Ephesians 4 both address our calling to use our individual spiritual gifts for the edification of the church (the unity of believers in Christ). And at least 8 different books in just the New Testament alone mention singing, which we do beautifully when we come together as one body united in Christ.
Nimbus of Love makes the fellowship found in a church building more accessible to all believers!
That may seem like a bold statement, but rest assured, it is an achievable - and invaluable - ambition. Today's advances in technology enable fellowship to be an integral part of a believer's daily life. NoL is a cohesive community that is readily accessible. This promotes a greater level of engagement with people who have difficulty attending traditional services and provides opportunity to interact frequently.
Church services, such as whole group sermons and smaller group study sessions, are held completely online. Nimbus members get together throughout the week and during scheduled meetings using chatroom-style tools. Members are encouraged to be active participants, instead of an audience at a distance, as much as the Holy Spirit moves them to do so. NoL also includes a forum where members share what they have experienced and learned, discuss the latest blog or NoL service, and support each other along their individual journeys of personal growth - edifying one another as we have been instructed.
Nimbus of Love does not have a regular collection of tithes and offerings. Instead, our members participate in our Love On operation, which facilitates the Spirit-led purposes and works in today’s world according to the good will of the Father.
